ECHEVARRÍA LEUNDA & ECHEVARRÍA PETIT is founded in 1951, by Dr. Jorge Echevarría Leunda with a partner under the name “Echevarría Leunda & Fignoni”. In 1988, Dr. José Luis Echevarria joined the firm, and in 1996 the firm’s name changes to Echevarría Leunda & Echevarría Petit Abogados.

The founders of Echevarría Leunda & Echevarría Petit are Dr. Jorge Echevarría Leunda , lawyer, graduated as Doctor in Law and Social Sciences at the National University in 1950, and Dr. José Luis Echevarría Petit, graduated as Doctor in Law and Social Sciences at the National University in 1990, and as Master in Business Law at the University of Montevideo in 1994.

Partner Dr. Raul Gonzalez Berro, graduated as Doctor in Law and Social Sciences at the National University in 1991, and as Master in Business Law in Montevideo University in 1996, and Partner Dr. Guillermo Garcia Pintos graduated as Doctor in Law and Social Science at the National University in 1968 and joined the firm, from the beginning.

In 2001 lawyer Maria Jesús Caulin joins the firm, graduated as Doctor in Law and Social Sciences at the National University in 2004.

Also, the International Development Bank has included our Firm in the list of experts in due diligence and project negotiations in the private sector.
