- 1. Public Sector:
- 1.1. Appointed as President of the Bi national entity that built the Salto Grande Dam on November 1st. 1973. During that period, negotiated the following finance contracts and purchases
- 1.1.1. Three loans from the IDB, the first one obtained in December 1973 for US$ 79 million for civil construction, another obtained in February, 1975 for US$ 95 million and a non refundable loan for the projection of economic activities to be performed by private sector in the Salto Grande zone
- 1.1.2. Loan from the Foreign Commercial Bank of the Soviet Union for the turbines and generators to be furbished by Energo Machexport.
- 1.1.3. Two loans from Japan’s Eximbank to finance the purchase of the dams and electric energy transformers
- 1.1.4. A US$ 100 million loan from a syndicate of banks leaded by the Manufacture Hannover Trust.
- 1.1.5. A US$ 100 million loan from a syndicate of banks leaded by the Bankers Trust.
- 1.1.6. A US$ 100 million loan from a syndicate of banks leaded by the Sanwa Bank.

As President of said delegation, held the negotiations with the World Bank for the finance of the fifth energy generation facility of the State Electric Company of Uruguay.

- 2.1. In 1998 takes part as specialist in the finance sector in a consultant group awarded by the Uruguayan Government of the bid called for consulting firms regading BOT finance.
- 2.2. Founder of Echevarría Leunda & Echevarría Petit Abogados with Dr. José Luis Echevarría Petit in 1996 as a merger of the former law Firm Echevarría Leunda & Fignoni of which was also founder in 1951.
- 2.3. President of Banco de Montevideo and President of the Executive Commitee of said bank until April 1995. As president he participated with other creditors of the Central Bank in the restructuring of Central Bank`s debt with international banks.

- 3.6. In 2002 advises Tractebel (Belgium) in regard to a call for tenders of the State Electric Energy Company.
- 3.7. In 2001 advised a Nansen (Brazil) regarding a supply contract for many electric measurement devices signed with the State Electric Energy Company.

In 2000 invited to participate to the seminar organized by The World Business Organization of the International Chamber of Commerce on "Negotiation, drafting and performance of International Contracts. Négociation, la rédaction el l’exécution des contrats internationaux" held in Paris from June 19 to June 22, 2000
- 3.9. In 2000, advises the National Office of Budget and Planning of Uruguay on BOT financing in collaboration with Price Waterhouse Coopers.
- 3.10. In 1997 is appointed by the International Court of Arbitration as member of the International Tribunal to solve a dispute between an Argentinian company and a Brazilian Company regarding the high voltage (500 KV) energy transport line that went from Yacyretá dam to Salto Grande dam. The dispute was finally solved by the holding of the Tribunal in 1999.
- 3.11. In 1996 is appointed to be included in the list of Arbitrators of the Uruguayan Chamber of Commerce, member of International Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce of Paris.
- 3.12. In July, 1994 is appointed as Sole Arbitrator by the State Bank “Banco de la República Oriental del Uruguay” and a commercial bank “Banco Comercial) to solve a dispute between them, and the decision was issued on the 24th. of January, 1995.

- 3.14. Legal counsel to Minera San Gregorio S.A. that obtained the concession for a gold mine in Minas de Corrales, in the Departament of Rivera, Uruguay.
- 3.15. Negotiator on behalf of Consorcio del Este, (operator of the Montevideo to Punta del Este Highway under a BOT contract) with Montevideo Stock Exchange for the issue of debentures that were not finally issued on the benefit of a better finance solution.
